RipeSell

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Banana Analytics Inc., a New Mexico corporation (RipeSell, we, us, or our), collects, uses, and discloses personal information in connection with the RipeSell website and platform (the Service), and the rights you may have.

Plain-language summary (not a substitute for the full Policy): RipeSell handles two kinds of personal information. First, information about our users (the people who create accounts). Second, information about property owners, which we compile from public government records and score to estimate likelihood to sell. Because we provide information about property owners with whom we have no direct relationship, we may be a “data broker” under several state laws. Property owners and users have rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain uses of their information, described below.

  1. 1. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information we process through the Service. It does not apply to third-party websites or services we do not control, or to the original government sources of the public records we use.

  2. 2. Personal information we collect

    Information about our users

When you create an account, request access, contact us, or use the Service, we collect information such as your name, email address, company, the content of your messages, and, for paid plans, billing information processed by our payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers.

    Information about property owners

To provide the Service, we compile and process information about property owners drawn from public records, which may include: owner names, mailing addresses, property (situs) addresses, assessed or market values, sale dates and prices, property characteristics, and parcel identifiers. We combine this public-record information with our scoring model to produce estimates and signals. We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial-account numbers, government-ID numbers, or other sensitive identifiers, and we do not seek them.

    Information we collect automatically

When you use the Service, we and our analytics provider automatically collect usage and device information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken, using cookies and similar technologies. See the Cookies and analytics section.

  3. 3. Sources of personal information

We obtain property-owner information from publicly available government records, including county and state assessor, property-appraiser, and parcel/GIS systems. We obtain user information directly from you, from your use of the Service, and from service providers such as our authentication, payment, email, and analytics providers.

  4. 4. How we use personal information

We use personal information to: operate, provide, and improve the Service; compile and score property-owner records and present ranked results to users; create and manage user accounts and process payments; communicate with users (including about access, support, and product updates); maintain security and prevent fraud and misuse; comply with law and enforce our Terms; and process and honor privacy rights requests.

We do not use property-owner information to make decisions about those individuals’ eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or housing, and we prohibit our users from doing so.

  5. 5. How we disclose personal information

To users of the Service: we make property-owner information and scores available to our authenticated users as the core function of the Service. Depending on state law, making this information available may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, which you may opt out of (see Your privacy rights).

To service providers: we share information with vendors who process it on our behalf (for example, hosting, authentication, payments, email delivery, and analytics) under contracts that limit their use of it.

For legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information to comply with law or legal process, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RipeSell, our users, or others.

In a business transfer: we may disclose information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell or share the personal information of users (account holders) for cross-context behavioral advertising.

  6. 6. Our data-broker status and registration

Because the Service provides information about property owners with whom we do not have a direct relationship, RipeSell may be a “data broker” under the laws of several states, including California (Delete Act), Texas, Oregon, Vermont, and Connecticut. Where required, we register as a data broker and comply with the applicable obligations, including honoring deletion and opt-out requests.

California residents: California operates a single deletion mechanism, the Delete Request and Opt-Out Platform (DROP). Where applicable, we register with the California Privacy Protection Agency and process verified deletion requests submitted through DROP on the schedule the law requires.

  7. 7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you (whether you are a user or a property owner whose information appears in the Service) may have the right to:

Access / know the personal information we hold about you and how we use and disclose it; Correct inaccurate personal information; Delete your personal information; Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information and of certain profiling; and Appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Property-owner opt-out and suppression: any property owner may request that we suppress their information from the Service. Once we verify a request, we will suppress that record from new results and instruct users to delete it, as required by law.

Protected public officials and covered individuals: if you are a person protected under a judicial-privacy or address-confidentiality law (for example, New Jersey’s Daniel’s Law or the Missouri or Oklahoma Judicial Privacy Acts), you may request redaction of your information using the methods below, and we will process it as those laws require.

  8. 8. How to exercise your privacy rights

Submit a request through our opt-out page at ripesell.com/opt-out, or by emailing privacy@ripesell.com, with enough information for us to locate your record (for example, the property address and owner name for a property-owner request, or your account email for a user request). To protect your information, we will take steps to verify your identity before acting, and we may ask for additional information for that purpose. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.

California residents may also use the DROP platform for deletion requests as described above. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

  9. 9. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions and for analytics. Our analytics provider, PostHog, helps us understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control).

  10. 10. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business and legal purposes, after which we delete or de-identify it. Property-owner records are refreshed from public sources on a recurring basis; suppressed records are retained only as needed to keep honoring the suppression. Where we maintain de-identified data, we will not attempt to re-identify it except as permitted by law to test our de-identification.

  11. 11. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  12. 12. Children

The Service is for business use by adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. The property records we process are not selected based on, and are not intended to describe, children.

  13. 13. State-specific disclosures

    California (CCPA/CPRA)

In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described above (identifiers, including names and addresses; commercial/property information; internet activity; and inferences such as our likelihood-to-sell scores). We collect it from the sources, and use and disclose it for the purposes, described in this Policy. California residents have the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale/sharing and certain profiling, and the right to appeal and to non-discrimination. To exercise them, use the methods above or the DROP platform. We are a registered data broker where required.

Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws

If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive consumer-privacy law (which, as of 2026, includes California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia), you have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, and certain profiling, and to appeal our decision on a request. Use the methods above to exercise these rights.

    Public-records note

Much of the property-owner information in the Service originates from public government records. Some state privacy laws treat lawfully obtained public-record information differently, but we honor verified deletion and opt-out requests for that information as described in this Policy regardless of its source.

  14. 14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.

  15. 15. Contact us
